Witchin’ It Up oversized graphic tee by House of Swoon

House of Swoon started with a simple idea: oversized tees that say something. Some are witchy and a little wicked. Some are Hinglish one liners that sound exactly like your group chat. Some are devotional and made to be worn with care. Each mood pairs best with a different kind of outfit, so here is how we would put them together.

Part one: The Coven, witchy and gothic outfits

The Coven is our Halloween drop, built around pointed hats, pumpkins and spiders. The prints run from the sharp, white line witch of Bad Witch to the softer, punny hat on Witchin’ It Up, and the cream spiderweb that runs from shoulder to hem on Spooky Corner.

Dark academia witch

Wear a black Coven tee under an open, long wool coat or a dark blazer, with straight trousers and lace up boots. Keep the palette to black, charcoal and one deep colour like burgundy or forest green. Add a silver ring or two and you are done.

Soft goth for the weekend

Pair the tee with a tiered black skirt or wide leg trousers, chunky platform sneakers and a plain black tote. Layer a thin mesh or fitted long sleeve underneath if you want a touch more texture without covering the print.

Halloween night out

Keep the outfit simple and let the print do the work. Black jeans, boots, a leather jacket and dark lipstick is enough. If you are heading to a party, you can add cat ears or a small witch hat as an accessory, but the tee already tells the story.

Spooky Corner in grey

Spooky Corner also comes on soft heather grey, which works in daylight as well. Try washed denim, white sneakers and a black overshirt for a look that is more autumn afternoon than midnight.

Part two: Bindaas, desi attitude in everyday outfits

The Bindaas drop is our Hinglish one liners collection, built for the loud, the late and the done explaining. Names like Apna Time Aayega, Bhai Kab Milna Hai and Mere Sapno Ki Biryani are already the conversation, so the styling should stay easy.

College and campus

Straight blue jeans, white sneakers and a backpack. Nothing else is needed. The tee is the accessory, and it is a good conversation starter for the canteen and the corridor alike.

Road trip and travel

Choose joggers or relaxed cargos, slip on shoes and a light overshirt for the air conditioning. A boldly worded tee like Bhai Kab Milna Hai fits a group trip well, because everyone will take a photo.

Casual Friday

Wear a navy or black Bindaas tee under an unstructured blazer with tailored trousers and clean leather sneakers. It stays smart enough for a relaxed office and still shows some personality.

Chai and street food evenings

Wide leg jeans, sandals or sneakers, and a crossbody bag. It is comfortable enough to eat in and looks good enough to be photographed with a plate of biryani.

Part three: The Shrine, devotional tees worn with intention

The Shrine prints, including Mahakal and Om Namah Shivaya, use the trishul, tilak and Devanagari mantras. They are made plainly, with respect, and we suggest styling them the same way. Keep the rest of the outfit quiet, so the print is the focus.

Everyday and festival days

Pair a black Shrine tee with straight trousers or plain dark jeans. For temple visits, festivals or family functions, check what is expected of dress at the place you are going and choose bottoms and layers to suit it. A plain shirt or light jacket worn open over the tee is an easy way to be respectful and still comfortable.

Wear it with care

Devotional prints carry meaning for many people, so it is best to wear them to occasions where they will be respected, and to wash and store them with care. That is why the palette and styling for these tees stays deliberately simple.

Mixing moods: an easy capsule

You do not need to choose a single lane. A small capsule of three tees, one from each mood, covers most occasions. A black Coven tee for evenings, a Bindaas tee for daytime and a Shrine tee for quiet, meaningful days. Add two pairs of trousers, a jacket and a pair of white sneakers, and you have more than a week of outfits.

Tips that work across every collection

Frequently asked questions

Which collection is best for a first tee?

If you want something versatile, try a one word or minimal design from The Study. For witchy energy, go for The Coven. For humour and everyday wear, pick from the Bindaas Drop.

Are the tees only for Halloween?

The Coven is a seasonal drop, but black tees with witchy graphics work all year round, especially for evenings and gigs.

Can I wear these to work?

Many of our customers do, especially on casual days. A quieter print under a blazer is the easiest way in.
