Phoenix

A phoenix rising in flame-coloured thread: crimson at the heart, burning through orange and gold to cool turquoise at the wingtips. The long tail and wing feathers are stitched to follow their own sweep, so they seem to flicker as the light moves. A smaller phoenix on the chest carries the fire to the front.
